How Taking a Travel Break Actual Makes Things Better
There is lots to tell you of what’s happening behind the scenes of Your Travel Friend Anna. And here’s just a glimpse into what’s going on.
As I mentioned in last week's blog post, staying in my home base of Canada for a chunk of time has let me establish time and energy to progress projects forward. Eliminate the travel fatigue of constant decision making (which don't get me wrong I do miss greatly, the discovery of new experiences constantly) but has allowed for strategic, focused and forward moving energy. We all need a break at times, reset ALL the batteries and realign our focuses for a next chapter.
It allowed me to reach out to an old friend that crossed my mind (what’s up Nik if you read this!). It’s likely you may feel the same that some friendships require constant attention, while others you can go years without speaking and pick up right where you left off. It also is important to maintain these long distance, or long-time friendships because you never know where they can lead you in terms of resources, support and opportunity!
Which leads me into excitement of how two travel friends met in Medellín, Colombia and two other travel friends met in Belgrade, Serbia within the same week thanks to the Your Travel Friend Community! How exciting to see folks connecting around the globe!
